Mere Presence of Security No Longer Equals Protection

With ever-increasing frequency, news headlines remind us of the proliferation of workplace violence, brazen theft, and active shooter tragedies in the marketplace. As a result, public and private organizations throughout the country find themselves painfully aware of their vulnerabilities, yet woefully unprepared to protect their people, products and places of business.

For example, the time-worn tradition of having little more than a public presence of security guards - while once a fairly effective means of mitigating threats - no longer provides assurance of protection of the organization’s assets.

First, as simple as it sounds, an organization-wide commitment is the key to the success of your security initiatives. Paying lip-service to your security efforts is a virtual guarantee of failure. Next, developing a comprehensive strategy that leverages a full measure of your organization's resources and tactics is essential. All too often we initially find a client’s tactical assets to be little more than a disjointed collection of “latest and greatest” cameras, access control devices, etc. - without a strategic plan to implement them.

As certified experts in the security/defense field and having counseled countless organizations - including churches, school systems and business owners – we can confidently state that you need not feel unprepared and vulnerable any longer. In tandem with your current strengths and assets, our iDefend team can customize and implement a targeted, cost-effective Emergency Action Defense Plan that will provide the protection you need for your organization.

Our practical, easy-to-use Emergency Action Guides, include proactive, counter-measures we integrate seamlessly into your organization’s culture and will be wholeheartedly welcomed by your members.

Law enforcement officials and survivors of sexual assault helped us identify the most common attack strategies that a male assailant is likely to use on a woman. From hair-grabs and choke-holds, to bear hugs and weapon defenses, the Women Empowered program covers it all.
Beyond the physical techniques, Women Empowered also reinforces awareness principles, risk assessment, and verbal and psychological strategies a woman can use to set safe boundaries with others – even if the perpetrator is someone she knows.
